24th of februaryThe earthquakes Day 18

Today's update is a bit more general information, a bit about how the people who are still in the earthquake area are doing because they can't get away from there 🙏

Turkish earthquake victims sleep in trains, tents, greenhouses

Hundreds of thousands of people are seeking shelter after the February 6 earthquake in southern Turkey

Just over two weeks after a massive earthquake leveled tens of thousands of buildings and displaced millions of people in Turkey and Syria, many are still struggling to meet their basic needs, with some sleeping in tents, factories, train cars and greenhouses.

The Turkish government and dozens of aid organizations have launched a massive relief effort. The government said on Wednesday that more than 5,400 shipping containers have been deployed as shelters and over 200,000 tents have been dispatched.

But we are facing a massive disaster. The government says at least 56,000 buildings, just in this one area, containing more than 225,000 homes, were either destroyed by the Feb. 6 earthquake or too damaged to be used. the area is home to about 14 million people, which is 16% of the country's population.

In the mountain villages of Kahramanmaras province, locals struggle to stay warm during the bitterly cold nights

Although the villagers have tents, but they are too flimsy to keep out the cold.

Umut Sitil, 45, said: "Our basic need is, first, containers. Tents don't work here. ... People in tents will freeze to death."

On Tuesday, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said 2.2 million people had left the disaster zone.

Of those, he said, housing needs of 1.6 million had been met, including about 890,000 people housed in public facilities, such as student dormitories, and 50,000 in hotels.

The Transport Ministry said on Wednesday that the government had helped more than 272,000 evacuate by plane, ship and train.

However, many people prefer to stay close to their homes, either to protect their belongings or wait for the bodies of relatives to be found, those in rural areas cannot leave, they must look after their surviving livestock.

Near the Mediterranean coast in Hatay, one of the worst-hit provinces, farmers in the Samandag district fled their damaged homes to large greenhouses that are otherwise used to grow tomatoes, bringing with them all the bedding and kitchen utensils they could salvage.

Locals say around 2,000 people now live under the greenhouses' plastic covers. Many have lost not only their homes, but also their livestock.

The villagers have set up wood-burning stoves inside the greenhouses to cook the food that aid organizations are handing out.

"We have no clean clothes," said Suzan Sagaltici, who lives in a greenhouse on the other side of the village. "We can't clean as we'd like, we can't take a shower. It is very difficult to live here. There is no hand washing. We have nothing. It's like living in the open."

Other displaced people have found relatively stable shelter.

Elsewhere in Hatay, the Yuksel family took refuge in a metal factory, where they have been provided with necessities, including clothes, food and household items.

Veysel Yuksel, his wife, Dilek Nur Yuksel, and their three children live in a trailer at the factory near the port city of Iskenderun.

"Our house has not been completely destroyed, but severely damaged," Yuksel said. "All the buildings around ours have been destroyed."

In the first days after the earthquake, about 1,600 people from the nearby town of Dortyol stayed at the factory, but half later left for other parts of Turkey.

The displaced residents can use a shared bathroom with hot water, a laundry and a small kitchen. They sleep in offices, shipping containers or trailers.

Iskenderun railway station houses families in train cars.

In addition to being given warm shelter, people said they were provided with three meals a day by the military.

Someone couldn't find a tent for the first three or four days, I drove around with my family in my car, we can't leave here, we have to take care of the animals, but we found a place to be.

We were eventually allocated a tent by an Azerbaijani aid agency.

Sometimes I wish we were stuck under the rubble too so we didn't have to live in this situation, we are having a hard time.

😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Today there was an earthquake of 4.5 in Nigde 🙏🙏🙏

Tomorrow I have half a day off, I need so much, but I have to go out with food tomorrow morning ❤️❤️

THANK YOU to all of you, this couldn't be done without you, thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️❤️❤️❤️

23th february

the earthquakes on the 17th.

Unfortunately, some of the many victims in Alanya (approx. 40,000) will soon have to go home to their hometowns, where most of them lie in ruins, how terrible it must be, to go home to nothing, it hurts right into the heart.

But the container cities and tent camps will be ready for most in a few weeks, but some have chosen not to travel back now, they are traveling on to family around the whole country, they cannot foresee having to live in a tent or container until the new houses is built and ready to move in 😭😭😭

But unfortunately the hotels can't have them stay for more than a month as promised, they have to start getting ready for the tourist season.

I had a long chat with the owner of Kleopatra Ada Hotel, I asked how the atmosphere is in general at the hotel? He replied that it is a lot of ups and downs, especially now, everyone knows that in 2 weeks they have to leave the hotel, most of them are sad, they have nothing to come home to, and the new houses they are building are also coming to to lie somewhere else because you avoid building close to fault lines, which is smart enough, but I also know the Turks well enough that they should probably be happy with the new houses and the new location, we experienced that when we supported the fire victims in the Manavgat area, the Turks are a really robust people and can get by with very little, they don't have a bed, well then they just build one🙏

But the director also said that the children are looking forward to coming "home" they miss school, their everyday life, their animals, and not least their friends.

So the parents now have a huge task in that they have to tell the children that there is no longer a school in their town, there are no houses, the animals are gone/dead, and how many schoolmates and friends are there left?? It will be SO horrible to talk to them about, explain to them, and will they understand ???, and will they be terrified to return "home" ????

I get tears in my eyes at the thought, they have experienced plenty, but now comes the hour of truth for the children 😭😭😭😭

But otherwise it was a good day, good visits to the hotels, we bought a lot of nice chickens, so I wonder if it will be on the chicken dishes tonight.

The children were happy, one of the big girls plays with them in the afternoon, I love hearing them laugh and have fun with each other.

So today I gave the candies to one of the dads so they can eat them when the game is over, he was SO grateful and all of you who donated were blessed again.

Here 18.53 Turkish time, an earthquake hit at 5.00 again in Hatay, there has been no word on any damage yet 😭

THANK YOU to all of you, this couldn't be done without you, thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️❤️❤️❤️

We have got a new mobilepay number, which Nanna is helping us with, THANKS Nanna.

You can donate to 5860TN

If you want to make a bank transfer, that is also possible, just write and I will send the account number.

And as mentioned, you can also donate via Western Union, here you also just write and I will send the information you need.

Thank you so much in advance for your support and donations ♥️♥️♥️

22nd of February

The earthquakes Day 16 Aya, the little girl is now 16 days old "the miracle baby", do you remember I wrote about her on day 2 after the earthquakes hit. Her mother gave birth to her under the rubble, the mother did not survive, but a rescue worker cut the umbilical cord with a knife .Both Aya's parents and her 4 siblings died during the terrible earthquake. The doctor who took care of the baby in the hospital had a baby himself, so his wife breastfed Aya. They found Aya, ONLY had one surviving family member, namely her Aunt and her husband, they adopted the baby. While thousands had approached to adopt the little girl, but of course the little girl had to be adopted by her aunt and her family, they had 3 children. The aunt's house had also suffered some damage during the first earthquake, but the family stayed, now with a small baby. You hardly think it could get any more terrible, but during the most recent earthquakes, the aunt's and uncle's house collapsed, killing them both. So Aya's new family is also dead, but the 3 children survived, who are Aya's cousins. Now a total of 4 children live in a tent with acquaintances of the now-deceased family, and it is intended that all 4 children will grow up together. I am sitting with tears in my eyes, I cannot bear it at all. I don't think it is possible, but I will write to the newspaper that wrote the article to see if there is any possibility of getting in touch with the new foster parents/acquaintances of the family who live in the tent. They deserve a little help with the kids if anyone

The day has been very busy, but unfortunately I only reached 2 families who badly needed medicine. Tomorrow we have 3 families (14 people) who cook themselves, but they need a little help with food. The plan is we going to kleopatra beach Yildiz and Kleopatra golden beach with supplies again tomorrow. You have donated around 77,500 TL, it is really so nice, with that money we have calculated that we can bring food etc. to the 4 hotels, with a total of 750 people, until March 15, (so 3 more weeks) when they will probably have to leave the hotels again. I'll go out and talk to them tomorrow, to find out what exactly they're missing, and hope we can also help them a little. THANK YOU to all of you, this couldn't be done without you, thank you from the bottom of my heart We have got a new mobilepay number that Nanna is helping us with, THANK YOU Nanna. You can donate to 5860TIf you want to make a bank transfer, that is also possible, just write and I will send the account number. And as mentioned you can also donate via Western Union, here you also just write and I will send the information you need. Thank you very much in advance for your support and donations

Just a small update, with a new mobilepay number.

The burial grounds exploded during the earthquakes last night at the Asri cemetery in Antakya. Some of the burial grounds spilled out onto the road, so the citizens got a shock when they had to visit their deceased this morning, it's so terrible. 😭😭

Research is really being done in this country into WHY it went so wrong during the 2 earthquakes D. 6 February, we who live here have talked a lot about the fact that it doesn't seem to be an ordinary earthquake, but we never thought we got one answer it. It has been totally extreme, something that has never been seen before in Turkey, not to that extent.

But today it emerged that the intensity of the first quake of 7.7 was 11, and the intensity of the second quake of 7.4 was 10 (max intensity is 12) Then it suddenly makes sense that it was THAT violent and destructive.

Tomorrow we will go out again and donate some food, there will be a longer update tomorrow.

I have been out to buy some cut stickers for a couple of children aged 8 and 10, which they will have tomorrow.

We have also received a few inquiries from some privately housed people who need medicine, of course they will have it tomorrow 🙏

Construction of the first 1,797 new homes will start tomorrow.

We still need help so that we can give food to the 750 victims who are staying at Kleopatra Fatih, Kleopatra Ada, Kleopatra Yildiz and Kleopatra golden Beach. Our plan is to donate food until mid-March, when they unfortunately have to leave the hotels, so that the hotels in Alanya can prepare for the tourist season, which starts on April 1 - Right now it looks quite hopeless for the many victims.

We have got a new mobilepay number, which Nanna is helping us with, THANK YOu

20th of february

Then it turned into 4 big earthquakes.

Now I actually think we have had enough tremors in this country, There have been many thousands of aftershocks in the last 2 weeks, tonight there was a new earthquake of 6.4, and 3 min. later there was one of 5.8, both in Hatay province, where the greatest disaster of the century struck on 6 February -

All of a sudden the earth cracked, well over 40,000 people died, thousands of houses collapsed like they were houses of cards, many many thousands of people were injured, thousands of cows, goats, sheep, dogs and cats perished, people lost children, siblings, parents, spouses and friends, many thousands lost EVERYTHING they owned incl. their houses and barns, whole towns were razed to the ground, and turned into an eerie cloud of dust, when the dust settled there were only ruins left in many places, death, grief, impotence, anxiety and destruction became an eerie reality in just ONE minute.

There are no words that cover it.

In tonight's earthquake, it is believed that many of the buildings that were already damaged have now collapsed, also other buildings, the authorities have announced that there are currently 8 dead and 296 injured, of which 18 are seriously injured. and the rescue workers have taken up again.

The tremors were really violent, people in areas say that it felt worse than 2 weeks ago, maybe because this quake was not very deep.

Alanya is not a risk area as such, but we do not avoid shaking, it happens quite often, and tonight the city also shook quite a lot, despite a distance of more than 600 km.

The many thousands of victims who are currently staying in hotels in Alanya completely panicked tonight, they rushed out into the street, and many of the city's citizens did the same, people are scared/insecure, that's probably most of us, on some plan, we've just seen how wrong it can go -

One of the victims who lives in a hotel panicked so much that he jumped off the balcony 😭😭

We have got a new mobilepay number, which Nanna is helping us with, THANK YOU.

You can donate to 5860TN

If you want to make a bank transfer to a Danish bank, it is still possible, just write and I will send the account number.

And as mentioned, you can also donate via Western Union, here you also just write and I will send the information you need. Western union is both easy and safe, the money reaches the recipient in a few minutes - You download the app in the play store and there is only a very small fee. You can transfer money worldwide via Western Union.

The earthquakes in Turkey - day 14

Here, a short time ago, the Hatay, Antakya area was hit by another large earthquake of 6.4, the tremors could be clearly felt in Alanya, despite the distance - Not much has yet been announced about the matter, apart from the fact that even more houses have collapsed 😭😭😭 😭 and that there are also people under the rubble, now this madness really has to stop 🙏🙏🙏

Today we distributed many kilos of food to the Kleopatra Fatih Hotel and to the Kleopatra Ada Hotel. The hotels with only rooms still get no help, so the 4 hotels we deliver food to are beyond grateful.

We had a long and really good talk with Dilaver, who is the boss at Fatih Hotel, he asked us to send a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who donated - Without your help, this could not be done, Thank you so much for your help, wonderful people.

We sat outside and drank tea with Dilaver, it was SO nice because the sound of the children playing almost drowned us out, the children were playing in the empty pool and they had a lot of fun 🙏🙏🙏🙏

I again had a lot of candies with me, the kids thought it was really funny that I threw the candies into the pool for them. And they are just SO sweet, they thanked me politely, even in English, so it touches my heart when you think about what they have been through and what awaits them soon. 😭😭😭

I can't bear the thought that soon they will have to go back to their hometowns, back to the ruins, back and find out that they will never see all their school friends again, well, in short, BACK TO NOTHING 😭

By mid-March at the latest, everyone must leave the hotels in Alanya, as the hotels have to prepare for the tourist season starting on April 1.

In the hometowns, they are working hard to build tent camps and container cities, I find it SO difficult to think about it, you are in the process of getting water and electricity supply up and running again.

We have calculated it today, we have enough money for food for the 750 people who live in the 4 hotels that we support, and help for the children and medicine, for the next 10/11 days, so we simply need to collect a little more so we can feed them for their last day in Alanya.

The babies have got everything they need, maybe we need to buy diapers.

Any amount, big or small, means a lot more than you think. We need it all, EVERYTHING we can collect 🙏🙏

If you want to make a bank transfer, that is also possible, just write and I will send the account number.

And as mentioned, you can also donate via Western Union, here you also just write and I will send the information you need.

Westen union is easy, it works fine, you just need to download the aqq in your play store.

Thank you so much in advance for your support and donations ♥️♥️♥️

And REMEMBER that for just DKK 50 we can both buy 1 kilo of rice, milk, 1 kilo of chicken cold cuts, oatmeal, 3 liters of natural yoghurt, every coin makes a difference. ♥️♥️♥️♥️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Happy Monday evening ❤️❤️

18 of february

Today, together with Jette Senekær Davidsen and her daughter Milla, aged 7, I have been to Kleopatra Beach Yildiz, and Kleopatra Golden Beach, with a lot of fine baby and children's clothes, which Jette brought by plane to Alanya last night, there was also a lots of pacifiers and baby bottles, as well as teddy bears, all to the great joy of the young families, the suitcases were opened and they could take everything they needed for the children, THANK YOU Jette, because you brought so many nice things, and now have to buy new clothes for yourselves because there was no room for your own clothes. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Milla had fun handing out teddy bears to the children ❤️

Of course, we also brought candies for the little ones, which made them very happy.

So, all in all, we had a few pleasant hours at the two hotels, and people are really so grateful.

Now, after bringing help out for a week, I think the picture is changing a bit in a positive direction, more and more victims are now sitting together and chatting, there are generally more people out, however some are still sitting completely by themselves and buzzing a little, it makes me so happy to see them becoming more and more social, and not just staying in the rooms, as they did the first days I was around the hotels.

When we finished, at the hotel I had an agreement with someone who lives in Tosmur, they are privately staying with a family, they live 11 people in a small apartment, we bought food so they can get by for a week,❤️

The death toll has unfortunately reached more than 42,000. 😭😭😭

There are PT 70,000 victims in Alanya alone, and lots of help is still needed.

Tomorrow, Sunday, clean-up work will begin in the earthquake area, it will be a crazy big job, removing the many thousands of houses that are in ruins -

The government has already held the first meeting on reconstruction.

I am attaching some pictures from today.

If you can and feel like it, support us in our further work, any amount, big or small, means much more than you think.

If you want to make a bank transfer, that is also possible, just write and I will send the account number.

And as mentioned, you can also donate via Western Union, here you also just write and I will send the information you need.

Thank you so much in advance for your support and donations ♥️♥️♥️

And REMEMBER that for just DKK 50 we can both buy 1 kilo of rice, milk, 1 kilo of chicken cold cuts, oatmeal, 3 liters of natural yoghurt, every coin makes a difference. ♥️♥️♥️♥️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

17 th of february

I will try to see if I can concentrate on watching the X Factor tonight 🙏

After 261 hours, 2 men and a boy of 8 years were saved, alive, it's amazing. ♥️♥️♥️

The death toll has risen to more than 38,000, and it will clearly increase as you dig into all the ruins, it will be a terrible number 😭

Yesterday there were again 2 earthquakes in the same area, which have been up to 9000 aftershocks, some of them have also knocked down buildings that were probably damaged beforehand.

I've been around town to find toys for the kids today, stop it, it's crazy expensive, a little ugly doll costs almost 300 tl, and the same for a plastic tractor, and since we have well over 100 kids, it's going to be way too expensive , we have to prorate, and food is still more important after all.

Tomorrow I will have to see if you can get, for example, ring games, jump rope, footballs and smaller balls, i.e. some more divisible things that more children can play with.

If we meet the children tomorrow, I think we can draw a little with them.

I have also bought 2 kilos of hard candies, to have a little fun with.

But I was able to buy colors and paper, as well as a lot of shampoo, which they must share a bit at the hotels, which they completely agree with, at least they were at the one place I managed to visit today.

Tomorrow we are going around with baby and children's clothes, baby bottles etc.

Take care of yourselves Denmark, a hurricane is coming over the country, I can't bear to think about more natural disasters, please 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I'll be back tomorrow with the latest news.. 🙏🙏

The earthquake in Turkey

Then it's time again for a small update - Today we went shopping for a lot of food again. to no less than 2 hotels, namely Kleopatra Beach Yildiz, and Kleopatra Golden Beach, both located in a beautiful place, directly facing Kleopatra Beach, so here you have a really good view

- The gratitude was again VERY GREAT, both from the hotels' staff but definitely also for all the people who live there, a total of 300 people live in the two hotels, and we met the cutest little babies, I of course asked if they needed anything specific the babies, they lacked baby oil (which is used a lot here) So at the same time as we had to get 250 liters of drinking water that we had ordered, we also bought baby oil, they were so happy.

On Saturday we are going around with baby and children's clothes, as well as some toys.

But now stop some horrible stories we get, I don't have an easy time just walking past, or going through the places where the victims are sitting, or rather I CAN'T walk past them and just say HELLO -

I have to stop and talk to them a bit and hear how they feel, and it's both good and bad, you could say, so many emotions come out, but they really want to talk about their cruel experiences, they also show photos from their cities that they took before they left the city, photos of those they have lost, etc. It is so horrible to stand on the sidelines.........and how is it that stand in the middle of it, I can go home in my home, I lack nothing, and then they just sit there in a Hotel indefinitely, and have lost EVERYTHING -

What will happen to them, will they get a dignified life again? Will they panic for the rest of their lives if there is a slight tremor, YES they will -

The children miss their playmates, their schools and their everyday life, for them EVERYTHING is also torn away in just ONE minute - I actually think that it is completely impossible to understand all the thoughts and worries that the poor people have to deal with.

Among other things, I had a good chat with 4 beautiful women, actually their mood was quite good, they smiled and it seemed like they were enjoying themselves together, how I wish I could speak Turkish fluently, but we have some good laughs that, and they understand everything I say, and I understand them, and EVERYONE we've met says "May God bless Denmark" Of course I say that it is mainly Danes who donate to them, but I also mention you who are not Danes.

I just want to say a big thank you to Tobias, THANK YOU for your invaluable help, which I really appreciate.

Today was Duran, our driver, he drove everything for us (though not at once) the water alone was a load - THANKS Duran, cok tesekur ederim.

So once again I have to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your donations and because you help us, to help people who are really in need, it hurts so much.

Tomorrow I have to take a day off, as I am in the process of renewing my residence permit, so I HAVE to visit various offices, unfortunately I have to, but I can take the day off with a clear conscience, as I know that all 750 people now get 3 times a day, it's quite a good feeling - And the way we do it, we really get a lot for the money, but it also takes a long time.

In advance Thank you so much for your support and donations, also a big thank you to those of you who call and send messages, it's getting hot and I'll probably answer you all, but there are a lot of messages every day, and most of the time I'm just completely finished when I sit down in the living room quite late in the evening.

If you can and want to, support us in our further work, any amount, big or small, means much more than you think.

You can mobile pay to Susse 53780789

I should be ashamed, sorry - Yesterday I didn't mention who helped buy the many items and bring them out to Kleopatra Fatih Hotel and Kleopatra Ada Hotel.

My fantastic helpers were Ibrahim, Isa and Tobias, thanks for the help, "boys" ♥️

Today has passed with a bit of fun together with 15 other Danes, it was nice to move my thoughts around a bit 🙏

We visited some hotels again today, so tomorrow we will shop at the Cleopatra Golden Beach Hotel, and Cleopatra Beach Yildiz, which has a total of around 300 people including children, and there you want paper and colors for the children, which of course they must have, and we must have brought a baby package to Ōzgür Bey Hotel, a little baby has just been born ♥️. How wonderful it is to be able to help, thanks to all your donations, you fill my heart with joy and gratitude, from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU.

You have now donated 51,100 Lira, in less than 3 days, I am so grateful and overwhelmed.

However, the 6,300 lira, donated to one particular family, is from a Danish donor who knows the family of 16 people, we will hand over the money to the family tomorrow, thank you from the bottom of our hearts ♥️

We have a big challenge PT, we run around the city to withdraw money, but the machines are empty, so today we have set up a Western Union account that everyone can donate to, and of course it is still possible to donate to Susses mobilepay 53780789.

All the places where we can pay by card, we do of course. But we can't do that, for example, in the vegetable market.

The loss of life has increased to 36 thousand 418,

105,505 were injured. (figures are from last night)

13,208 injured are still being treated and hospitalized.

Approximately 250,ooo civil servants are still participating in the work.

369,ooo buildings were examined by the Ministry of the Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change

Preparations for new houses and cities to be built in the region have been started by the Ministry of the Environment, Urbanization.

The surface fault that developed during the earthquake on the East Anatolian fault line has moved the land as much as 3 meters.

We will continue the collection for a few more days, we are very proud that we just PT feed 750 stomachs every day, those people live in the 4 hotels we have decided to support.

So support us in our further work, any amount, big or small means much more than you think.

(please write earthquake)

If you want to make a bank transfer, that is also possible, just write and I will send the account number.

And as mentioned, you can also donate via Western Union, here you also just write and I will send the information you need.

Thank you very much in advance for your support and donations

12 th of february
Today I'm home early, but we also started early this morning (some long days) So now I have to work the rest of the day, with my real job, I think I'm a little behind.

But of course you must have today's update -

The day has gone well, we have also met many nice Turks who have lent a hand, THANK YOU friends - We have greeted a lot of the victims, who are of course very affected, very sad, but happy that they are alive , but life will never be the same for many - Virtually everyone has lost family members, friends and acquaintances, and many have lost EVERYONE they had around them.

But my impression is that the children are fine, they play, play ball and have a good time with each other, but what it looks like when they go to bed in the evening, we don't know -

But most of the people we have met today either sit in a few groups and talk together, or they sit all alone, in a place all by themselves, and immerse themselves in everything that happened to ET in their lives, it is unbearable , and it hurts so much to the core.

Today we chose to buy food for 2 hotels that live respectively 240 people in one Hotel, and just under 200 in the other, in total there are 105 children living in the 2 Hotels, these are both Hotels that only had rooms available - Unfortunately, it is such a PT in the system that Hotels that only have rooms, and not separate apartments, do not get the necessary help from the municipality, they do not get food brought out to the victims who live in the hotels, nor clothes, shoes, hygiene products etc. Where the hotels that have apartments they get the help they need.

But many private individuals have donated clothes and other things, so there is no shortage of it, but food is urgently needed, which is why we chose to support there today - So we have delivered a load of food to each of the two hotels, everything possible from rice, pasta, oil, meat, yoghurt, breakfast products etc. so there should be enough food for the 450 or so people for a few days, or 3.

We have met an enormous amount of gratitude from everyone, you are just so touched, it's so hard to hold back the tears, phew ❤

We have chosen to do exactly the same as we did almost 3 years ago, when we drove lots of food to the villages, during the corona - Again we collected in 2020 when the large areas burned in the Manavgat area (by the way, we drove help to Manavgat for a whole year, until their houses were rebuilt) -

We don't donate the things to the collection points, we don't donate your donations anywhere, we go out ourselves and buy what is needed here and now, and give it to exactly those who need it, we feel the best about that, but take it MUCH longer, but you don't always have to make things up in time -

We now know that what we deliver ends up where it is needed, and PT where they do not already get help.

The situation and needs change all the time, tomorrow there may be demand for other things.

Tomorrow, we will find out how it looks with medicine. since the previously mentioned hotels do not receive it either, to those who may missing.

And then we have to wait and hope that food will be brought out to them in a few days - And on Saturday there will be a lot of things for the children, which we then have to take out at the weekend.

Again, I want to thank you for all your donations, big or small, EVERYTHING makes a difference - THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart ❤

I took some pictures from today and I got permission to post them here,

Remember that for only DKK 30 we can buy as much as 5 kilos of rice, and for DKK 100 we can buy 50 large loaves of bread.

Once again THANK YOU for the support ♥️♥️

Dear friends - Another good day, and again with ups and downs on the emotional level, it IS very difficult here.

Confirmed deaths have reached a horrific figure of 31,643, the figure is expected to reach 90,000

Here on day 8, there are still people who have been rescued and are alive 🙏🙏🙏🙏 169,764 rescue workers are still struggling 24 hours a day to find more survivors, but the hourglass is running out, but people who have not wanted evacuation is still sitting around the fire in the evening waiting for good news, daytime for the population is spent with funerals 😭😭😭

We have a HERE AND NOW challenge in Alanya, more than 30,000 victims have come to the city who are staying in hotels, dormitories, private homes, etc. Most hotels offer accommodation, electricity, water and breakfast, free of charge, it is very commendable , the challenge lies in the victims themselves having to provide food for the rest of the day, which not everyone can do, no one has managed to bring either money or anything else from their home. They don't have any clothes either, some still have the night clothes they wore 8 days ago, before the earthquake hit 😭😭

So we went to the municipality with that problem today, it indicates that the error lies in a coordination problem, and it just needs to be solved, but now I know the procedure to get it started, and I got the phone number of the person in charge, so tomorrow, when we go to the hotels, that process will be started, but HERE AND NOW they lack food. Tomorrow we will deliver food to 300/400 people, including 60 children (on Saturday all the things for the children will arrive from Denmark).

But today all of you who have donated have helped to make 9 wonderful children happy, they forgot all the horrors for a while, one has a birthday, and everyone got gifts/clothes from us, see the videos below that the family has sent - We met with someone from the family today, and handed over the bought to them, he was very grateful, and sent a greeting to you all with a huge THANK YOU ♥️

THANK YOU for your huge support and backing, we will continue the collection for a little more than a week, or at least until the municipality brings the necessary items to the hotels. - We have reached 30,000 lira in less than 2 days, it's really so nice, thank you all from the bottom of my heart ♥️♥️♥️

Dear everyone

A SMALL COLLECTION

I have decided to collect a little for the earthquake victims.

Where I, among other things, is my love, yes, it is EVERYONE I want to help, but I have decided to collect some money for the babies and smaller children who have arrived in Alanya. The donations go to, among other things, baby bottles, breast milk replacement, diapers, etc., as well as a small gift "nicely wrapped" for the slightly older children -

I want to contact the many hotels in Alanya that have opened their doors to the poor people who have come to Alanya around 30,000 victims.

Miracle after 103rd hours!

6 people were rescued from an apartment, 3 more are expected to be rescued

In front of the Arzu apartment, where 6 people were pulled out of the rubble, those waiting for good news from their relatives burst into tears of happiness.

The victims of the earthquake, who were removed with difficulty from the building debris, were put into ambulances one by one and taken to hospitals.

A young girl who was pulled from the wreckage was taken to the ambulance with broken legs and very carefully with her port side.
